Stewart "Rookie"

kidlit has been supporting Stewart "Rookie" with his dream, here is a bit about himself and what he wants to strive for!! Keep reading for an insight... and a little video!!
My name's "Rookie" I'm 23 years old and I currently drive the On Point Auto Electrical r32 skyline. I first discovered drifting when the V8 Supercars first came to Hamilton and I think it was a demo around the track I watched them and just said to myself, "Yeap that's it, that's what I have to do!". Up until about 3 years ago I always just talked about it then this banged up r32 rb20det skyline popped up on Trademe for 4 grand so brought it thinking I would do a few track days and get sick off it!!
...But 3 years on the car has evolved into an almost competitive drift car and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. My goal for myself would be to hopfully make it to D1NZ. Until then I'm just at it for my own fun and enjoyment!
There's nothing better then taking your buddy's for a ride and seeing their faces, when smoking up the track! They give a wicked, huge smile when we are out there and that is what makes it all worth it.
We all see the bigger picture and I cant wait till we get to that point were we can be like, "Damn we finally made it" and go back to how we were when I was 16-17 just driving cars without a care in the world (on the track of-course), but until then we are putting the pressure on.
We want to be great, the best! We will keep pushing it as a team or it's just not going to happen...
A few people and groups that I couldn't thank you guys enough!
